Kim DeThomas
President, E-Care Contact Centers
Kim DeThomas is a classic corporate success story. In May 1998, Kim joined the small start-up company now known as E-Care Contact Centers. Concurrent with her employment, Kim attended the University of Winnipeg from which she graduated in 2002 with a Double Major in Business Administration and Psychology. Through professional dedication, business acumen and extremely hard work, Kim progressed up through the ranks until in August 2005, she was named the President of E-Care Contact Centers. E-Care employs over 500 staff, providing contact center, finance, payment services, human resources and business technology support to a variety of lending companies.
Kim possesses a unique ability to be both engaging/caring, but at the same time is able to make difficult people decisions. She is widely known to be "firm but fair".
Gary Mizuno
Vice President, Finance
Immediately upon meeting Gary you discover that he is an intelligent, unassuming yet strong leader. A likeable guy, he tends to befriend people effortlessly. Gary began his career with E-Care in 2005 as a Business Analyst but quickly displayed the qualities E-Care needed as head of our Finance Team in British Columbia. After several months of commuting from Winnipeg to British Columbia he accepted the position of Vice President of Finance and moved to British Columbia.
Gary graduated from the Asper School of Business (University of Manitoba) in 1992 with an honours degree in Commerce as well as a CMA. He has over 14 years of providing professional services to Manitoba businesses which include Kraft, Boeing Canada and Assante Asset Management. In these sectors, Gary gained valued experience that primarily focused on financial/business analyses, project management, business relationship management, controllership and business development.
Shawna Fisette
Vice President, Operations
Personable, Passionate and Positive are just 3 words to describe our Vice President of Operations, Shawna Fisette. Shawna's management style has earned her the reputation of being a hands-on leader with a remarkable sense of fair play and business ethics.
Shawna began her career with E-Care in 2001 as a contact center agent while working on completing her post secondary education. Always proving to be a natural leader and dedicated team player Shawna rose in the ranks to become an integral member of E-Care's strategic leadership team. Prior to her current appointment, Shawna has held several positions within the company, including Director of Operations and Client Services and Contact Center Manager.
Shawna earned her Business Diploma from Red River College in 2001 with a major in Marketing and Administration. Continuing to pursue a Bachelor's degree at the University of Winnipeg while taking on more and more responsibility at E-Care has kept Shawna extremely busy. She is as determined as she is hard working and therefore will achieve all the goals she sets for herself.
